My name is Diesel. My Home run is Traralgon parkrun, but I spend a lot of time at Newborough and Churchill as well. I’m a 5 1/2 year old Malumute x Husky – and am a rescue dog and I’ve been living at my forever-home for the past 2 years, this is when I started doing parkruns.
I look forward to every weekend when my Dad (known to all as Diesel’s Dad – AKA Dave) let’s me pull him along (for the first half anyway). And getting lots of smooches from all the other parkrunners, I think I might be a bit of a local celebrity. I wake everyone up with my “Wooooooooo” (I like to sing) and get very excited when Dad puts his runners on or gets my harness and lead out.
Are you a parkrun-loving dog, aka a parkdog? If so, and you’re clever enough to read this newsletter, we’d love to hear from you.
Please send your profile here with the subject ‘parkdog of the week’. And remember, don’t forget your bark-code. Woof!
