A first anniversary and a surprise visit for Kanata

Kanata parkrun celebrated their first anniversary last Saturday and had some nice symmetry to go with it. 35 participants attended, the same as the launch day.

 

Linda Newton the event director had been looking forward to the event for weeks, and was thrilled to be surprised by a visit from Jonathan Gascho, one of the event directors at Victoria parkrun, Kitchener. Linda and Jonathan met through a Cross Country team, and then ended up reconnecting through parkrun!
