This Saturday 7 October marks a very special day for parkrun as it will be 13 years since 13 people completed the very first parkrun! The international parkrun community is now huge and here at Intersport we are happy to be part of the family. As a proud partner and helping to keep parkrun free forever, we’ll be celebrating #parkrun13 across Ireland and hope that as many parkrunners as possible will support their local event to make tomorrow a day to remember. Happy birthday, parkrun!

Wherever you’re running and whatever the autumn weather is throwing at you (sun one weekend, rain the next…), don’t forget that we’re always on hand at Intersport with plenty of expert advice, from tips about running through to gait analysis and finding your perfect shoe. Find your nearest store here.

Remember that you can claim 10% off at Intersport as part of our ongoing parkrun partnership price #PPP*. Simply show your parkrun barcode in store (#DFYB!) to claim 10% off running products**.

Keep sending us your pictures via Twitter @IntersportIE and like us on Facebook.

See you at your next parkrun!
