Last weekend the Vhi parkrun roadshow rolled into Ballincollig, Co. Cork. A crowd of 394 walkers, joggers, runners and volunteers participated, and Ballincollig parkrun also saw 76 new registrants sign up in the week leading up to the parkrun.
Former Cork GAA footballer Valerie Mulcahy was on hand to lead the warm up and joined parkrunners in the Vhi Relaxation Area post event for some much-needed refreshments.
A big thank you to the team of 24 volunteers who put on a marvellous parkrun and to everyone at Ballincollig parkrun for the warm welcome!
The Vhi parkrun roadshows have been rolling out across the country and the turnout at each of the events in Dublin, Kilkenny, Roscommon, Donegal and Cork has been fantastic.
Vhi will be hosting more events in the coming weeks so keep an eye on the parkrun newsletter and Facebook for more details.
