Hands up who squeezed in an extra run over the bank holiday weekend? Here at Intersport we certainly did and, with better-than-average bank holiday weather, it seems to have a been a fantastic weekend of running for many! It’s been great to see so many runners new and old taking part in parkrun and enjoying the supportive, social environment of a weekly 5K. With parkrun recently announcing that the average finish time has got slower, that means that more of you are running for the first time and more of you are taking part no matter your ability. For once, getting slower is great news!

As we head towards summer *we say hopefully* it’s time to shed the winter layers and kit ourselves out in lighter, sweat-wicking gear to maximise comfort and performance. The change of seasons is always a great excuse to update your running wardrobe and now’s a perfect time to invest in a few key pieces to make the most of the longer days ahead.

Whatever your running needs, we’re always on hand at Intersport with plenty of expert advice, from tips about running through to gait analysis and finding your perfect shoe. Find your nearest store here

Don’t forget that you can claim 10% off at Intersport as part of our ongoing parkrun partnership price #PPP*. Simply show your parkrun barcode (#DFYB!) to claim 10% off running products in store!
