This year we will again be supporting the European Week of Sport #BeActive campaign with Sport Ireland.
As part of the #BeActive week in September there will be a competition aimed at highlighting projects and individuals dedicated to the promotion of sport and physical activity across Europe.
One of the competition categories is the #BeActive Local Hero Award, which is awarded to an individual who has worked consistently to promote participation in sport and physical activity in their local community and society at large.
The full details can be found here.
The closing date for applications is Tuesday 24 July and completed application forms should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
