volunteer pic Cambridge

Thank you to Larraine for her constant help and cheerfulness, lovely picture of her here on the ‘tokens’ spot with Run Director, Paul in the back ground and another little, enthusiastic helper!

Name: Larraine Crowther

Age: 73

Home parkrun: Cambridge NZ

Occupation: Retired

Number of Runs: 5

Number of times volunteered: 10

Favourite volunteer role: Finish Tokens

I volunteer at parkrun because: I enjoy getting to meet a wide range of people.  Everyone is so friendly.

One thing I love about parkrun is: I’m always impressed by the parents who push buggies around the course.  To have both themselves and a little one ready to go by 8am is amazing to me.  It’s not something that would have ever crossed my mind when my girls were little.

My most memorable parkrun moment was: I have a soft spot for the dogs who do parkrun.  A parkrun with lots of dogs is always a good one.
