Wheelchairs welcome

Palmerston North wheelchair participant.jpg 1
Wheelchair users are most welcome at parkrun and at Palmerston North parkrun the path along the
beautiful Manawatu River is smooth and solid from start to finish with some undulations - perfect for
wheels.

David Hartley a regular wheelchair parkrunner, now having done 6 out of the 7 events so far, has this
to say:

"I'm pretty sure I have reached the point that I'm happy my time to do the 5km hasn't
increased. It's really enjoyable and I've got to meet some really nice people while punishing
myself on a weekly basis :) " – David Hartley, Palmerston North

Unfortunately not all parkrun courses are suitable for wheelchair participants, but please check your local
parkrun website for a description of the course or you can email to find out more.
