I volunteer at parkrun because: I love photography and when I saw the chance to be the Pegasus parkrun Photographer I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get to do some event/sport photography and not only that it’s doing something for the lovely people who run at parkrun!
One thing I love about parkrun is: Everyone is just so friendly and welcoming – get to meet new people and seeing every ones motivation is awesome!
My most memorable parkrun moment was: My first ever parkrun doing the photography – it was pouring down with rain, but I thought I would still try to capture some photos and the amount of people who still came to run was amazing! Everyone still ran with smiles on their faces and didn’t let the weather get them down – was super cool to see!
