From the time of the last participation record set in August, it didn’t take long before we had a new participation record in the Nordics! On the last Saturday in September, 1016 people took part in the 18 parkruns across the region (also a new record), with an amazing total of 133 volunteers supporting these events.
In the other articles below you can read more about two other of the events, with the launch of Tokoinranta parkrun in Helsinki, Finland, and a report from Örebro parkrun in Sweden where the local radio station was in attendance to help raise money for a great cause.
Here below we share with you some photos from a special day in Amager Fælled parkrun, where they had a record breaking attendance of 181 runners to celebrate their 500th event!
