Lincoln parkrun wins Active Lincolnshire Physical Activity Award

Lincolnshire Sport Awards 2017

Lincoln parkrun has been presented with the Active Lincolnshire Physical Activity Award (Programme). Upon receiving the award, Event Director Louisa Dennett said:

“Lincoln parkrun launched in November 2013 and continues to grow from strength to strength. With 300 – 400 people participating each week alongside an incredible army of friendly and encouraging volunteers who make the event happen, and indeed support from parkrun UK, Lincoln parkrun is changing lives right in front of our very eyes.

“We now have a huge, inclusive, active parkrun family that people love and value. There are so many reasons as to why people take part and that is the beauty of it. It is an absolute honour to collect this award on behalf of everyone who is associated with our event – well done everyone to every single person at Lincoln parkrun.”
