Bath Skyline parkrun wins Outstanding Services to Sports Award

Bath Skyline parkrun has been crowned the winner of The Bath Chronicle ‘Outstanding Services to Sports Award’ 2017.

 

In accepting the award, event director Helen Conner said:

 

“I’m overwhelmed to say that we won this award. It was a real surprise and such an amazing accolade.

 

“We had a lovely evening at the Bath Assembly rooms; the atmosphere was fantastic with a room filled with lovely people all of whom had their own amazing achievements to tell.

 

“Well done to the whole team (Mark Ilott, Carl Young, Andy Marchant, Mark Hawkins, Diana Wyatt), your efforts are what makes our parkrun truly special. Thank you for your commitment, passion and dedication to our lovely community event.”
