Market Harborough parkrun has been presented with the Community Impact Award at the Harborough District Sports Awards 2017.

The award recognises an individual or a group that has developed a sport or physical activity project, or had a positive influence to inspire others to become more active in the community.

Event Director Brian Corcoran said: “Market Harborough parkrun began in April 2015 and since then has been nominated for several awards, but this is the first win. Hopefully it will be the first of many for the team.”

Congratulations to everyone involved with Market Harborough parkrun.
