I am so proud of my mother who today completed her 100th parkrun at the inaugural Westbury parkrun.
Thank you so very much to fellow tourists Jaco and Mike who ensured that Westbury had a set of flags to be used to commemorate the occasion, and to the flag bearers and cheerleaders Alison Groves and Adam Thatcher. What a wonderfully supportive community parkrun is.
We are both very humbled by the encouragement and support of everyone. She is especially thankful for the support and encouragement of the people at Klerksdorp parkrun. She was interviewed for TV after she completed her run and specially mentioned the support of the Klerksdorp parkrun team.
Last Saturday I ran the Voortrekker Monument parkrun but had a mix up with the paper barcode I used. I emailed requesting if possible for the correction to be made. On a long weekend I was totally surprised to not only receive a response back but also have the issue resolved within the afternoon.
The service is of the best quality and recommendable!
Thank you parkrun volunteers (Wendy Yates)!
