parkrun for the little ones

BLOG Parkrun little ones-01

Hey moms and dads…

Did you know, when your little ones get enough exercise, they pay more attention when they need to? (Homework win!) And all that activity lowers their chance of getting sick by boosting their immune system. (Fewer sick days for the win!)

Plus, getting your tiny troop to join your Saturday parkruns is a great way for them to have positive associations with exercise – seeing it as fun and not ho-hum. It’s also a fun way to stay fit as a family… away from the TV.  It’s these and plenty more positives that make a Saturday morning parkrun a no-brainer!

So, before you get going with your little ones, take their motivation up a notch with a new pair of kicks that’ll see them through from their Saturday parkruns and weekend fun, to their afterschool extramurals!

From breathable uppers for enhanced ventilation, to lightweight engineering for a lighter, comfier feel, these Maxed trainers are the perfect addition to your kid’s active wardrobe.

Before you get going, get shopping! Shop kids’ fitness footwear on the MRP app (available on iOS and Android), shop in-store at your nearest MRP Sport store or shop online at

Please note: Children under the age of 11 years old are the responsibility of their parents or guardians and need to be accompanied at all times before, during and after the run.
