I would like to introduce you all to my husband Ian (I will never run!!) Martin.
As a loving gesture to me his wife he decided to come to his first parkrun on the 2 September 2017 to celebrate my 100th run. This is a picture of him at his first even parkrun.
72 parkruns with a wonderful tally of 25 different locations and 8 volunteer sessions, he now has a PB of 31.10 and is looking at getting to sub 30!!!!
We run with the most amazing group of people who have supported and loved him on his journey. He is now half the man he was.
He is 61 years old and never had any plans to run EVER!!
