At 76 years old I have been an avid parkrunner for about 6 years; 271 parkruns notched up in 37 different venues in 5 countries and looking forward to three more countries this year with a respectful homage to Bushy Park in the UK .
Re your inspiring story this week and ways to deal with the challenge, I loved your idea of COUNTING. I seem to have a small talent for languages so every parkrun I count 1 – 100 in English, then Italian, then Spanish, then Portuguese, then French, then Vietnamese, then Swedish, then Russian … and by then the end is in sight.
