Join the parkrun team!


We’re recruiting! We are looking for a full-time Office Administrator to join our team based in our Asia Pacific office on the Gold Coast.


Committed to breaking down barriers to participation in regular physical activity and bringing communities together, parkrun supports communities around the world to deliver free, weekly events every weekend that people of all ages and backgrounds can take part in – as walkers, runners, volunteers and spectators.


The Role


We’re looking for an organised and dependable office administrator. Are you all about solutions and brilliant at juggling multiple priorities?


Key responsibilities:


  • Assist the parkrun Asia Pacific team members to ensure projects are running smoothly
  • Schedule meetings and appointments and arrange official travel, accommodation and meals
  • Compile statistics and generate reports using a variety of software (Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Provide project management assistance across a range of business functions
  • Help manage the Southport office and meeting rooms – including maintaining office supplies, utilities and scheduling required maintenance
  • Management of incoming and outgoing mail and parcels – including liaising with courier companies
  • Other tasks as appropriate/required

    About You


  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competence in IT, with preferable experience of Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs (G Suite)
  • Energy, determination and enthusiasm
  • Willingness to learn

    Whilst some previous administration experience would be great, it’s not essential.
