From quiet beginnings, parkrun has grown into a worldwide social movement with community at its beating heart.

 

Committed to breaking down barriers to participation in regular physical activity and bringing communities together, we deliver free, weekly, timed events that people of all ages and backgrounds can take part in – as volunteers, walkers, joggers, runners and spectators.

 

Our mission is to create a healthier and happier planet. Now in our 18th year, parkruns are delivered in over 2,200 locations across 22 countries.

 

The role

 

In order to support our growth, we are seeking to appoint a full-time Volunteer Impact & Engagement Manager to join our team on the Gold Coast.

 

Through the direction of the Head of Event Delivery APAC, the Volunteer Impact & Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in influencing volunteering strategy and leading on all aspects of volunteer recruitment, training, engagement and culture.

 

Are you passionate about parkrun? Fanatical about finding solutions? Made to manage multiple projects at once? Love interacting with people? We want to hear from you!

 

The successful applicant will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment alongside a supportive and fun team, and will play a key role in helping parkrun create a healthier and happier planet.
