Translation Ambassador opportunities

As parkrun continues to grow around the world, we are committed to breaking down barriers to participation in regular physical activity and bringing communities together.

Communication plays a vital part in what we do, and we are looking to expand our range of non-English language content. To help us do so, we have created the voluntary role of Translation Ambassador.

The role

Translation Ambassadors will assist with the translation of parkrun internal documents, public-facing articles and news stories, video content, social media posts and ad hoc requests.

This voluntary role will ideally suit those people with experience working as a translator, and an understanding and passion for parkrun.

We are currently looking to recruit volunteer Translations Ambassadors who can translate English content into the following languages:

  • Dutch
  • Japanese
