Vhi’s Women’s Mini Marathon Squad enjoy their parkrun ‘Bring a Buddy’ day

Knocknacarra Park parkrun in partnership with Vhi

The Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon Squad were out in force on Saturday at parkrun events in Dublin, Clare and Galway as they continue their training. Vhi’s ‘Bring a Buddy’ Day saw a major uplift in parkrun participation at the four locations with participants walking, jogging and running their way around the respective courses.


The Garrihy sisters Doireann and Ailbhe were in Porterstown park in Castleknock, Dublin, whilst sister Aoibhín and mother Clare Garrihy were at Lees Road parkrun, Clare. Broadcaster Georgie Crawford brought a buddy along to Cabinteely parkrun, as did Today FM Presenter Pamela Joyce who visited Knocknacarra parkrun, Galway where her Dad and friend.


Together they are calling on women all around the country to run stronger together and join them at the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon this June.
