Are you taking part in the largest all female event of its kind in the world this May? The Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon is back for its 38th year and if you are taking part this summer, your weekly parkrun is the perfect preparation for the 10k route!
In the run up to International Women’s Day, we launched with the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon with a fantastic group of women on Monday including Lottie and Bonnie Ryan, along with their mum, Morah, broadcaster Georgie Crawford, fitness enthusiast Leanne Moore and actress Demi Issac Oviawe.
Our Vhi squad of ambassadors will be attending their local parkruns to kick start their preparations ahead of the Women’s Mini Marathon. Each of them will be walking, jogging or running and you can keep up to date with their journeys by following their social media channels.
Fitness expert Leanne Moore will be providing advice and training plans, along with recipes from Vhi support member David Gillick. You can find all training plans, recipes on the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon website.
