Vhi are delighted to launch a special virtual edition of the event for 2020 in recognition of the hundreds of charities that depend on the Women’s Mini Marathon event for a significant part of their fundraising efforts each year.
The Vhi Virtual Women’s Mini Marathon will take place between 1 October and 10 October 2020, with participants being called upon to complete the 10km event ‘their way’ over the course of the 10 days with the aim to raise €10 million for charities. So, if you love your morning 5k parkrun, why not sign up?
The Vhi Squad consisting of sisters Lottie and Bonnie Ryan, broadcaster Georgie Crawford, fitness enthusiast Leanne Moore and actress Demi Isaac Oviawe have registered and they want you to join them! You can keep up to date with their training and find out what charity they have chosen to represent by following their social media channels.
Fitness expert Leanne Moore will be providing advice and training plans, along with recipes from Vhi support member David Gillick. You can find all training plans, recipes on the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon website.
