How did you first get involved in parkrun?
I’m an ex-smoker and my sister in law who had taken part in parkrun asked me to go along with in her, so I did and after a few weeks, I was hooked!
How have you been completing your (not)parkruns?
I logged my first official one on the 21st of November, I should have been doing it previously!
How has (not)parkrun helped you over the past few months?
It has helped me keep on up my running and I will be taking part from now on.
What do you miss the most about parkrun?
I miss the lovely friends I have made, and the general fun of it all – and of course, the running!
What are you looking forward to the most when parkrun returns?
I can’t wait to see all my fellow parkrunners and friends that I have made from parkrun, I really miss them. I am looking forward to keeping up the fitness also.
What is your favourite parkrun memory?
On an August Bank Holiday weekend, I ran and completed my 50th parkrun and achieved my personal target to beat 25 mins. It was a double celebration and a massive milestone for me personally, I was thrilled!
