A look back to Vhi’s visit to Templemore parkrun

Vhi roadshow at Templemore parkrun

In the absence of parkrun during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are looking back at some of the events Vhi visited throughout the years as parkrun’s partner.

Back in 2019, the Vhi parkrun roadshow visited Templemore parkrun, Co Tipperary. It was an incredible day as the parkrunners were joined by Olympian and Vhi ambassador David Gillick.

There was an energetic atmosphere on the day as David got the heart rates elevated and the blood pumping with a warmup routine. Afterwards, Templemore parkrunners refuelled with fruit snacks to help with the all-important recovery.

In total, 126 parkrunners turned out on that Saturday morning with 32 people taking part in parkrun for the first time and 15 walkers, joggers, and runners achieved a new personal best time!

Templemore parkrun gave the Vhi roadshow a warm welcome and we are hoping to see you all back at your local parkrun in the brighter days that will soon lay ahead. Here are some more images from the event.
