Vhi launch the 2021 Vhi Virtual Women’s Mini Marathon

Vhi was delighted to launch the 2021 Vhi Virtual Women’s Mini Marathon with the help of the Vhi Virtual Women’s Mini Marathon ambassador Una Healy.  She will be joined by fellow ambassadors Dr. Laura Lenihan in Galway, model and nurse Grainne Gallanagh in Donegal and travel writer Nadia El Ferdaoussi in Dublin.

Each of the ambassadors are of different fitness levels so they will be walking, jogging and running the event. Una and Grainne will be running, Nadia will be jogging and Laura will be walking the Vhi Virtual Women’s Mini Marathon on 19 September. You can follow their journey and training on their Instagram channels, @unahealy, @ggallanagh, @nadia_dailyself and @drlauragp. They cannot wait to start training and are looking forward to taking part in their hometowns and being part of something big this year on the 19 September!

This year, participants will be supported every step of the way by Olympian and Vhi fitness expert ambassador David Gillick and nutritional support will be provided by nutritionist and dietitian Aoife Hearne. David will provide an easy to follow 12-week training plan for walkers, joggers and runners which will be suitable for participants of all fitness levels. Aoife will provide recipe ideas for all meals throughout the day. Both the training plans and recipes will be available on to help make sure your training and diet stay on track!
