A look back to Vhi’s visit to Porterstown parkrun

Vhi Roadshow at Porterstown parkrun

We were delighted to see the return of parkrun over the past number of weeks. We here at Vhi are really looking forward to seeing you all at parkrun again soon, and to remind us of the wonders parkrun can offer, we are taking you back to when we visited Porterstown parkrun in 2019.

What a morning it was as we were joined Vhi ambassador and former Olympian David Gillick.  268 participants turned on out that Saturday with 44 first timers and 51 people achieving their personal bests.

David Gillick got the blood pumping, leading the warm-up for participants and offered support and encouragement to newcomers and seasoned parkrunners alike. Vhi were also there to help participants refuel after their morning exercise and providing fruit snack refreshments and a yoga session to help with that all important recovery.

Porterstown parkrun gave us such a warm welcome and we can’t wait to see you all in person once again soon. You can check out more images from this event here.
