Achill Greenway parkrun host their first parkrun!

Vhi are thrilled that parkrun events have returned around Ireland, meaning parkrunners have been able to return to their Saturday morning walk, jog, run or volunteer. On top of that, it has been great to see new parkrun events also starting around the country!

Achill Greenway in Co Mayo held their first parkrun on the 23 of October. Despite some wet and windy weather conditions, 67 parkrunners turned out in total to walk, jog and run along the Achill Greenway parkrun. There were also numerous volunteers on hand to help with this initial first event.

Well done to all those who took part and we look forward to seeing Achill Greenway parkrun growing in the future. You can check out images from their first parkrun here.
