Olympian David Gillick joining Mungret parkrun this weekend!

Our friends at Vhi launched their More Than Running campaign last week and to celebrate, Olympian and Vhi ambassador David Gillick is calling on all walkers, joggers, runners and volunteers to join him at Mungret parkrun in County Limerick on Saturday 23 July for a special event!

Vhi are proud presenting partners of parkrun and are hoping to see many of you there this coming Saturday.

Vhi and David Gillick are inviting all parkrunners, new and well-seasoned, to take the leap this summer, dust off your trainers and get back into your routine by joining them at the Mungret parkrun event this weekend. On top of the regular parkrun activities, David Gillick will lead all parkrunners in a warm-up exercise to get them ready for the 5k distance.

After the route, there will be a Lucky Dip full of branded goodies, a competition where two parkrunners can win two €50 One4All vouchers and other fun activities happening.  Celebrating the importance of our community, Vhi will be presenting the Community Wall space where fellow parkrunners can reflect on their experiences and share these by leaving a note on the Wall.

Vhi hope to see you at Mungret parkrun this Saturday 23 July for a morning of fun-filled activities!
