Our friends at Vhi have awarded the Vhi parkrun Hero award for the month of July to Fiona Fallon from Oldbridge parkrun in county Louth!
The monthly award recognises and rewards inspirational, hardworking and dedicated members of the parkrun community who embody the ethos of parkrun or have made an outstanding contribution.
Fiona was chosen as the parkrun Hero nominee by her fellow parkrunners, who have said that she is a vital part of Oldbridge parkrun. Fiona has been committed to her volunteering role and continues to show up every Saturday without fail. Accompanied by the whole family, Fiona goes above and beyond each week by encouraging people to make it over the finish line.
The Oldbridge parkrun is delighted to recognise Fiona’s commitment by naming her parkrun Hero for the month of July – the community passes on their thanks to Fiona!
Nominate a parkrunner for the August parkrun hero award at www.vhi.ie/running and if you are a Vhi customer you can also nominate a member of the parkrun community for the award within the Vhi app. Winners will receive a €250 One4All voucher and a winner’s medal courtesy of Vhi.
