Welcoming Brooks as global footwear partner

Brooks UK

We are excited to announce a landmark multi-year partnership with Brooks, who have become parkrun’s global footwear partner and the first presenting partner of parkrun USA, Netherlands and Germany.

Brooks have been involved with parkrun since launching a three year partnership in the UK and Ireland back in 2020. Across the past three years Brooks have visited dozens of parkrun events, surprising communities with freebies, games and giving parkrunners the opportunity to walk, jog, run or volunteer in their trainer trials. We’re delighted to see them not only continuing the relationship, but also seeing them step up to global footwear partner across every parkrun territory and become presenting partner in the USA, the Netherlands and Germany.

Russ Jefferys, CEO at parkrun said: “parkrun is for everyone. We believe that physical activity should be fun and that time outdoors, in the company of others, should be prioritised and celebrated.”

“Brooks’ inclusive community approach and Run Happy ethos fit perfectly with our brand values, and our collaboration will help deliver on our mission to create a healthier and happier planet. We have ambitious plans for further international expansion, and our partnership with Brooks will play a key role in our potential for growth.”

“Brooks believes in a world where everyone who wants to run feels welcome and has the place to do it,” added Jim Weber, CEO at Brooks Running. “parkrun’s global presence and shared beliefs make this partnership a meaningful step forward in our efforts to engage people everywhere so all can access and experience the power of the run in their own communities.”

This multi-year partnership will help to keep parkrun events free, for everyone, forever, supporting all who want to take part – whether that be running, jogging, walking, volunteering or coming along to spectate.
