Join us as a Communications and Partnerships Manager for parkrun Ireland

We’re pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Communications & Partnerships Manager to join the parkrun team, based in Dublin.


From quiet beginnings, parkrun has grown into a worldwide social movement with community at its beating heart.


Committed to breaking down barriers to participation in regular physical activity and bringing communities together, we deliver free, weekly timed events every weekend that people of all ages and backgrounds can take part in – as walkers, joggers, runners, volunteers and spectators.


Our mission is to create a healthier and happier planet. Now in our 18th year, parkrun is delivered in over 2,200 locations across 23 countries.


parkrun Ireland was started 10 years ago and now there are 135 parkrun events around the country taking place every weekend, with more locations being added all of the time. We are looking to invest and grow further in Ireland as part of our 5 year strategy and are recruiting new staff members to support our journey.


The role


We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Irish team. The role holder will be responsible for delivering our communications strategy to engage participants and implementing communication campaigns within the Republic of Ireland as well as supporting the acquisition and account management of a variety of commercial partners.


Supporting the fast-paced and varied work of the parkrun organisation will demand the building of effective relationships with internal teams as well as with the external partners.


The ideal candidate will have fantastic organisational skills, be able to build effective relationships quickly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
