This past weekend, Vhi staff turned out to volunteer at Kilkenny parkrun and were joined by Vhi ambassador and former Olympian David Gillick.
The grey skies didn’t dampen spirits on the day, with a total of 169 participants and 27 volunteers mostly made up of Vhi staff.
David Gillick kicked things off with a warm-up to get everyone ready to move with the volunteers supplying some extra motivation for parkrunners along the route! There were also some healthy snacks and refreshments for everyone gathered afterwards.
With the aim of improving the nation’s health and helping people to live longer, stronger, and healthier lives, Vhi staff members were delighted to help lend a hand on the day and were so pleased with the warm welcome from the Kilkenny parkrun team.
