We wanted to assure you that we are still working behind the scenes, along with Malaysia’s Event Ambassador Emer, monitoring restrictions, in order to be ready to reopen parkrun in Malaysia as soon as Ministry of Health Malaysia restrictions allow.

Over the past few months contact has been made with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and also individual landowners who are required to approve the reopening of parkrun in your communities. Whilst it is not yet possible for us to confirm a reopening date for parkrun Malaysia, we look forward to doing so as soon as possible.

It’s great to see parkrunners from the two existing events joining in (not)parkrun. Please keep sharing your (not)parkrun photos on social media, we love to see you all out and about in Malaysia and still part of the parkrun family.
