Inspirational 86 year old parkrun legend

Geoff Jackson

It’s wonderful that parkrun’s international family can bring runners/walkers together across the world sharing one very simple common goal, to get out, keep fit and have fun.

What better way to do it than in beautiful surroundings with like-minded people and having a chat over coffee afterwards. Thank you so much to Geoff for sharing his love of running and  his delightful grandson with the Cornwall Park community.

We hope to see Geoff again, but he did say the baby buggy may be a bit too heavy for him next time!

Thank you very much to Geraldine Johns for her wonderful article about Geoffrey and parkrun here in New Zealand.
