Whangarei dog
This week’s beautiful, furry friend comes from Whangarei in the winterless north!
Bonnie and Charlie Dog

Hi fellow doggie parkrunners,

My name is Charlie…I’m a 6-year-old Swiss Shepherd and I am, like many others, addicted to parkrun.  I can’t wait for Saturday mornings, I’m out with my Mum Bonnie, into the car, nose pressed on the window looking for that bridge so that I know we are in the right place. I love socialising and I am so lucky to be able to have many parks that I can go for walks in

I now have 56 parkruns to my name. To all you other doggies, stay close to Mum and Dad, you don’t want them getting tangled up in your excitement. I fully intend reaching my 100th parkrun, so here goes, but I’d like to know where my “50” T shirt is so I can be just like Bonnie.

Whangarei parkrun is the highlight of my week.
