Queenstown celebrated their 1st anniversary last Saturday in style with a fancy dress themed event that saw everything from costumes to onesies, wigs, crazy hats and a brilliant cake!
Juliet Kennedy, daughter of co-ED Jeff Kennedy, made this amazing cake for our first birthday! It features Lake Wakatipu, The Remarkables Mountains, Loki the barkrunner, and the parkrun flag! Well done Juliet! - Queenstown parkrun

What a year it has been! Hard to believe that we have completed one full calendar year of Queenstown parkrun! Needless to say that the event team are over the moon at the reception that our parkrun has received from both locals and tourists alike.
A big thanks goes out to everyone who has volunteered to make this event possible. There have been numerous volunteers that we are very thankful for, but we must call out our members of the 25 parkrun Volunteer Club: Phil Gerard, Gareth Harcombe, Jamie Seymour, and Fleur Douglas.
