Next week is “Mid-WInter Christmas” when we celebrate all that’s wonderful about this time of year and the spirit of getting out in the rain.  We expect to see Santas, Mrs Santas, lots of elves and perhaps even a few reindeer if you look hard enough.  There will be decorations and carols, and anyone who brings a flask of mulled wine gets glad tidings and plenty of goodwill!

 

Parking problems at Whangarei: There will be some interruptions at the start of Whangarei parkrun until the end of July as the council are about to seal the car park where the start is.
Parking is only available across the road at the cricket grounds parkrunners will need to allow an additional few minutes to get to the start line for 8am.

Auckland Marathon - 20th October 2019 Achilles International is very excited to announce that this year Auckland Marathon will also include an official Wheelchair Marathon.

Anyone of any age with a disability who wants to get moving is welcome to become a member of Achilles International New Zealand.
