New Zealand update – August 20

nzupdate20Aug

As anticipated, the Government announcement this afternoon confirmed that Alert Levels outside of Auckland will not be eased sufficiently to allow parkrun events to operate this weekend.

With Alert Level 4 restrictions applying to the entirety of New Zealand until at least Tuesday 24 August 2021, all parkrun events nationwide will be cancelled tomorrow, Saturday 21 August 2021.

If you are looking for something fun to get involved in, we encourage you to stay connected with your event online and through participation in (not)parkrun. You can access results and stats on (not)parkrun participation by event for last week in New Zealand here.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
