This year, for the first time, Sweden held extra events on Nationaldagen, the special day on which we have the option to hold extra events. This year three events went ahead with parkruns, Örebro, Malmö Ribersborg and Kungsängen.
It was quite simply, an amazing success! With temperatures approaching 30oC it was certainly a hot morning for running! We had huge turnouts at all three events, and a wonderful mix of locals and parkrun tourists visiting to fit in an extra run and sample (or re-sample!) parkrun in another country.

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped to run these events on a ‘red day’ here in Sweden.
144 people took part in Malmö Ribersborg parkrun.
