The running magazine Spring has selected Örebro parkrun’s Matt Ford to be on the shortlist of the nominations for ‘Årets Eldsjäl’, which roughly translates as the ‘volunteer of the year’. Matt was the driving force behind getting Örebro parkrun started in the town and has been instrumental in making the event a huge success, bringing people together and getting them active on a Saturday morning. He’s also the man behind parkrun Sweden’s social media content, and does all this as a volunteer.
You can vote for Matt by going to the following form here . Voting is open until January 6th.

A vote for Matt is a vote for some good publicity for parkrun, so even if you’re not a regular at Örebro parkrun, go in and vote to show your support!
