Wow! An amazing weekend of parkruns in the Nordics, with the special day events in Denmark and Sweden breaking all of our attendance records in both countries and in the region as a whole. Of course we had many visitors coming to see us, but we also had over 200 people taking part for the very first time and over 300 new registrations too. Here’s an extended selection of photos from the long weekend.

Over 200 parkrunners descended on beautiful Billdalsparken parkrun to enjoy parkrun this Tuesday. A very special day for everyone involved.
A record breaking 727 parkrunners completed Växjösjön parkrun on our special day event, under sunny skies. A fantastic effort from all the volunteers for keeping everything running so smoothly.

We move over to Denmark, where we had over 1400 parkrunners attending our special day events on Monday, with the biggest turnout of the day at Amager Strandpark parkrun

Not to be outdone, Norway also celebrated their highest ever attendance on a regular Saturday, with close to 500 parkrunners joining the events around the country, like here in Nansenparken
