We’re excited to let you know that we’ll be filming the next in our series of videos celebrating our partnership with parkrun at this Saturday’s Heaton parkrun.
Taking place in Manchester’s beautiful Heaton Park, it marks the beginning of a superb weekend of sport in Manchester as Sunday is the very first Aldi Manchester Half Marathon, of which we are also a proud partner! We know that some parkrunners will be taking on the half marathon on Sunday, and we’re looking forward to filming all the action on both days and to cheering you on.
Many of you have used your parkrun as part of your training, as 5K can be an enjoyable challenge within an existing routine as well as a great starting point for running. We hope to chat to some of you on Saturday as well as to the brilliant volunteers and Run Director who make parkrun possible.
Intersport is proud to be Official Sports Retail Partner for the inaugural Aldi Manchester Half Marathon, and we’ll be there on Sunday alongside our friends at ASICS, the race’s Official Sports Brand and Training Partner. It’s fantastic to be able to support runners as they work towards their goals and achieve their dreams.
Wherever you’re running this weekend, make sure that you’re kitted out correctly and prepared for the cooler autumn days. We’re always on hand with plenty of expert advice, from tips about running through to gait analysis and finding your perfect shoe; find your nearest store here.
