parkrun NHS70_©Jo Gennari_Team LGT_900x416

Here at Intersport we are incredibly proud to be involved with parkrun and helping to keep it free forever – especially when we see brilliant initiatives such as ‘parkrun for the NHS’ last Saturday. Lots of us at Intersport were out to support our local parkrun and it was fantastic to see so many people, young and old, turn up to celebrate 70 years of the NHS – health professionals included!

The day really highlighted the incredible community spirit at parkrun and its ability to bring people together from all walks of life. It’s very much in line with our own ethos at Intersport, ‘Sport to the People’, where our goal is to help people of all ages and abilities enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. It doesn’t matter what you do, or how fast you do it – it’s doing it that counts, and we’re here to help you every step of the way!

Wherever you are with your running, we’re always on hand at Intersport with plenty of friendly advice, from tips about running through to gait analysis and finding your perfect shoe. Find your nearest store here
