We are delighted that junior parkrun events are now returning across the whole of the UK.
Please note, in countries where 5k parkruns are yet to return, junior parkrun events will temporarily be reopening for 4 to 10 year olds only. For more information on this, please click here. Currently 5k events have only returned in Northern Ireland, with a planned restart across England on Saturday 24 July. Our COVID-19 Framework applies to all events, and it is important that all of our community are aware of its implications.
To find out if your local junior parkrun event is currently open, please check the specific event’s website and social media pages.
Please also follow our COVID-19 codes of conduct:
Please could all children be encouraged to have their hands out ready for a token in the finish funnel, and hold out tokens and barcodes together flat and facing the scanner for the volunteer Barcode Scanners.
If you have a printed barcode, laminating can help, or why not treat yourself to one of our ID band products at the link here. We look forward to welcoming you back to parkrun.
