The Vitality Running World Cup is back!

The Vitality Running World Cup is the free-to-enter global virtual running event where you run for your country and compete against the rest of the world. Represent your country and become part of the biggest running community that empowers people to become more active.

The tournament starts on 21 September  and lasts until 10 October 2021 and there are three knock-out where you battle it out for world cup glory.

No matter your ability, the aim of the game is to walk, jog or run as much and as far as you can for your country to help them climb the leaderboard and through to the next round.

To qualify a run, you must complete a minimum of 3km within 30 minutes.  The more runs you do, the more points your country scores.  And that’s not all, just by taking part and completing your weekly running goals, Vitality will donate a Polio vaccine to a child in need through UNICEF.

Vitality Ambassador Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill is back once again leading the way as our Team UK captain! So, join hundreds of thousands around the world today and run for your country in this year’s tournament.

For more information and to register for free, head to: www.runningworldcup.com or download the Vitality Running World Cup app, and get ready to run for your country!

Then, in 2013, someone told me about parkrun.   I completed the Couch to 5k programme, after…
