Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope wherever you are that you are able to celebrate it with family and friends, either in person or online.

We’d normally be able to get one extra parkrun in (one of two special days per year we can run extra parkruns, the other being New Years) but we all know why that’s not possible this year.

That’s not going to going to stop us getting from into the Thanksgiving spirit however!  We can’t go running like we normally can with a parkrun, but that doesn’t stop us running altogether. Do get out if you can, and here’s some of Thanksgiving runs from previous years for some inspiration:

Great turkey hats on show at Livonia on Thanksgiving Day last year, including those doing their first parkrun!

More turkey hats!  Leakin park parkrun didn’t hold a special Thanksgiving Day parkrun, but they did hold a ‘Friendsgiving’ parkrun two days later, for one of their largest crowds to date!

At Jamaica Pond parkrun, there was a fitting surprise at the turnaround mark!

At Perrigo parkrun, we had some dazzling turkey socks!

It may have been cold at Kensington parkrun, but that didn’t stop friends and family getting together.

However, following on from last week’s update, we remain…
