Since May 22nd, parkrun events in the USA have had the opportunity to relaunch provided that they could show that they had continued landowner permission and that their state and local authorities allowed for an event of their typical size.

From this Saturday we expect to see 33 events active, with a further 3 scheduled in coming weeks.

We are well over half-way in our journey to bring back events but we still face some challenges with those that are yet to return.   For example cities, park boards, and other administrative bodies have been inundated with event applications so obtaining permissions have been taking longer than normally expected.

Please do check with your local event that they are open prior to making the journey on Saturday morning, and be patient with those events that are not yet able to return.
