Happy Independence Day week! There was a red, white, and blue theme across our parkrun last Saturday as we all got into the holiday spirit. Here’s our highlights from the day.
Sippo parkrun not only celebrating Independence Day but also Nancy’s 50th volunteering occasion. Well done Nancy!

Riverside Park parkrun is still a very new event with event number three on Saturday. It’s growing fast however, and this week they saw lots of locals mixing with visitors from Washington, Florida, and Australia.

College Park parkrun had a fun weekend having taken part in the local July 4th parade, but it’s always as much an opportunity on the Saturday for celebration and achievement.
Peace Valley parkrun had milestones to celebrate and tourists in town. Next week is a combo celebration of 50 events and the one year anniversary. We look forward to seeing the photos!

Durham NC parkrun is ten years old and still attracts a healthy amount of first timers. It’s great that people are still learning about the event for the first time.

Attendance record! We blew our previous record out of the water with a whopping 2,364 finishers across 52 events, amazing! Summer really is in full swing and clearly, parkrun is the place to be on Saturday mornings. 510 super volunteers helped out around the country and we welcomed 357 parkrunners to their first ever event….
