The summer really does bring a mix of conditions and photos across the country. From the high heat and dry conditions in Palo Alto in California to the flooded and rainy downpours in the East, we got it all this week. Relive the journey in our week of photos.
Byxbee parkrun hosted their 80th event on Saturday, attracting a good crowd in the hot summer of Palo Alto.
The volunteer team at College Park parkrun had some quick thinking to do when they arrived on Saturday morning to discover a significant part of the course was blocked off. Thankfully, they were able to switch to an alternative route.
Courthouse Lake parkrun are really embracing the summer.
It was an ideal morning at Depot Park parkrun with a great turnout and great weather.
A great turnout and a rare dry morning for the Pacific North West at the out and back course of Des Moines Creek parkrun.
The team at Fletcher’s Cove parkrun arrived on Saturday to find blocked roads and flooded canals, but the event was able to continue with some puddle jumping. They had what they call “a nice soft day.”

It was wet in many places on Saturday, but luckily at Joe Creason parkrun they snuck in their parkrun during a lull in the rain. Well done to all who got out there!
Ohio and Erie Canal Reservation parkrun has been around since October 2019 and after 63 events it still gets a good turnout of first timers each week.
Congratulations to Peace Valley parkrun who not only celebrated 50 runs, but also their second year since their launch.
The rain storm hit Baltimore and Annapolis Trail parkrun with the downpour starting at 9am of course! But, it didn’t stop everyone enjoying their parkrun morning.
Anacostia parkrun was also part of the East Coast that was dodging the rain storm.
In comes Anand as the Tail Walker at Rock Creek Trail parkrun, making sure everyone had a great time as the event comes to a close for another week.

Attendance record! We blew our previous record out of the water with a whopping 2,364 finishers across 52 events, amazing! Summer really is in full swing and clearly, parkrun is the place to be on Saturday mornings. 510 super volunteers helped out around the country and we welcomed 357 parkrunners to their first ever event….
